Soren government’s vision for the year 2026, focus will be on eco-tourism

Jharkhand News: Jharkhand’s Hemant Soren government is going to do something different on the New Year. In the year 2026, Chief Minister Soren’s focus is on eco-tourism. Expansion of eco-tourism, environmental protection as well as providing new employment and income opportunities to local communities are also included in their focus.

Focus remained on development of biodiversity parks in the year 2025

Let us tell you that in the year 2025, under the Soren government, the biggest focus of the Forest Department has been on the development of biodiversity parks. The state government has taken concrete steps towards environmental protection as well as education and tourism by establishing biodiversity parks. A detailed development plan has been made to bring Ranchi Biodiversity Park into the category of national level excellent parks. For this, a provision of more than Rs 1,000 crore was made under the scheme and CAMPA head in the financial year 2025-26.

Now taking this work forward, the main focus of the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand is going to be on the expansion of eco-tourism. This year, the government aims to provide new employment and income opportunities to the local communities along with environmental protection. Local youth will be linked with guides, home stays, handicrafts and service sectors so that the dream of ‘green employment’ comes true.
