IPS Transfer: Transfer of 3 IPS officers, orders for new posting issued, know who got which responsibility
Chhattisgarh IPS Transfer News: Administrative reshuffle has been made in Chhattisgarh Police Department. The Home (Police) Department of the state government has issued transfer orders of three officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS). According to the order issued late evening of 22 December 2025 by the Home Department, IPS officers Indira Kalyan Ailesla, Nikhil Ashok Kumar Rakhecha and Nikhil Ashok Kumar Rakhecha have been given new postings. The orders will come into effect with immediate effect. This administrative reshuffle of the state government is being considered an important step towards strengthening law and order and strengthening the police system in sensitive areas.
Transfer of three IPS officers in Chhattisgarh
Under Home Department orders, 2011 batch IPS officer Indira Kalyan Ailesela has been given the charge of Chhattisgarh Armed Forces Northern Range, Surguja. Before this, she was working as Superintendent of Police of Kanker district. Also, 2019 batch IPS officer Nikhil Ashok Kumar Rakhecha has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police of Kanker district. Earlier, he was serving as SP in Gariaband district. Apart from this, Vedvrat Sirmaur has been given the police command of Gariaband district. He was currently on deputation to the post of General Manager in Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Raipur. The Home Department has withdrawn his services from the Tourism Department and posted him on the post of Superintendent of Police, Gariaband.
