There will be all kinds of facilities in the super specialty hospital
Haryana News: Preparations to change the picture of health services in Haryana have intensified. Under the leadership of CM Nayab Singh Saini, the government has prepared a blueprint to develop one ‘model hospital’ equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in every district of the state. In these Super Specialty Hospitals, facilities like CT scan, ultrasound, MRI, modern laboratory and specialist treatment will be provided under one roof.
10 modern hospitals dedicated, work on 22 continuing
Let us tell you that during the question hour in the winter session of the Assembly, CM Nayab Singh Saini, while answering the questions related to hospitals and health services, said that till now 10 modern hospitals have been dedicated to the public, while the construction work on 22 other hospitals is in progress. He clarified that the government’s focus is not just on constructing buildings, but on ensuring quality, availability and transparency of treatment.
Claim of historic improvement in health facilities
The Chief Minister said that during the previous governments, expansion of health facilities was not a priority, due to which common citizens had to depend on private hospitals. Before 2014, the state used to get only four specialist doctors annually, whereas now this number has increased to around 200. The government believes that this has strengthened people’s trust in government health services.
Big change in medical education also
Along with health infrastructure, significant progress has also been made in the field of medical education. The Chief Minister said that in the year 2014, while MBBS seats were 700, now their number has increased to more than 2500. The government claims that this will reduce the shortage of doctors to a great extent in the coming years and will provide better health services in both rural and urban areas.
Emphasis on increasing the capacity of hospitals
CM Nayab Singh Saini said that the capacity of hospitals is being continuously increased to strengthen the health services at the grassroots level. 30 bed hospitals are being upgraded to 50 beds, 50 beds to 100 beds, 100 beds to 200 beds and 200 bed hospitals to 400 beds. Along with this, special attention is also being given to cleanliness, availability of medicines and testing facilities, so that patients do not have to wander outside.
