Sanam Saeed reveals post-pregnancy fitness and hair care tips

Sanam Saeed, the acclaimed Pakistani television and film actress known for hits like Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Shak, Mera Naseeb, and films including Ishrat Made in China and Maah-e-Mir, recently opened up about her post-pregnancy fitness and hair care routine. The actress, who returned to television with Main Manto Nahi Hoon and is currently being praised for her performance in Umera Ahmed’s drama Kafeel, shared her personal wellness tips during an appearance on Good Morning Pakistan, hosted by Nida Yasir.

Talking about staying fit after giving birth, Sanam emphasized the importance of balanced nutrition and regular movement. She said, “Eat well and exercise. Movement is essential, whether it’s walking or exercising at home—whatever is possible. I exercised throughout my pregnancy. Of course, I rested in the first few days after delivery, but then I resumed and focused on eating clean.”

On maintaining healthy hair, she credited genetics as a key factor, noting that her mother had strong hair and her father still maintains his. Sanam highlighted the importance of avoiding heat styling tools such as straighteners and curling tongs. She also stressed proper nutrition, saying, “I consume fish, take vitamins, use healthy oils, and eat vegetables and nuts, which I believe fulfill my nutritional needs. Your brain functions better when you eat right—you are what you eat.”
