Bangladesh High Commission : New Delhi : In our neighboring Bangladesh (Bangladesh violence) Chaos is over. Once again, Bangladeshi youths have become aggressive and are committing arson and vandalism. Minority Hindus are being oppressed in Bangladesh. Violence and atrocities on Hindus are going on in brutal manner and Hindus are being burnt alive. After its video went viral on social media, voices are being raised against it from India (Delhi News). The repercussions of this violence in Bangladesh are echoing in India and Hindu organizations have become aggressive outside the Bangladesh High Commission.

Hindu youths have become aggressive outside the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi. A voice is being raised in India for the Hindus of Bangladesh. Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is protesting in Delhi on 23 December 2025. The recent killing of Hindu youth Deepu Chandra in Bangladesh has created tension outside the Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi. The protesters tried to remove the barricades in front of the Bangladesh High Commission. Aggressive youths also clashed with the Delhi Police.

From 11 am today (23rd), Vishwa Hindu Parishad activists gathered outside the Bangladesh High Commission to demand justice for the family of the Hindu victim in Bangladesh. Meanwhile, there are growing concerns about the safety of Indian nationals, especially medical students, stranded in Bangladesh.

Invitation to Indian High Commissioner from Yunus Govt

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma was summoned to the Ministry of External Affairs shortly before 10 am on Tuesday. Deputy High Commissioner of India was also present in this meeting. Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Asad Al-Siyam called on the High Commissioner. According to reports, Verma was summoned due to growing security concerns around the Bangladesh mission in various parts of India. He was requested to strengthen the security of all Bangladesh missions in India.

Earlier, Verma was summoned on December 14. At the time, Bangladesh expressed concern over former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s continued provocative statements and sought India’s cooperation in preventing the killer of Inqlab Forum spokesperson Sharif Usman Hadi from fleeing to India. Bangladesh has also said that if the accused enters Indian territory, he should be immediately arrested and handed over to Bangladesh.

Protest in Delhi two days ago

Demonstrations were held outside the Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi on Saturday night (December 20) to protest the killing of a Hindu youth in Bangladesh. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal clarified that the protest was limited and peaceful. He said there was no security threat to the Bangladesh High Commission and only 20 to 25 youths participated in the protest.

Demand for justice for Deepu in Bangladesh too

On 22 December 2025, Hindu organizations and minority groups demonstrated in front of the National Press Club in Dhaka to protest the killing of Deepu in Bangladesh. Protesters said Deepu was innocent and was falsely accused of blasphemy. After that, the extremists attacked him and he was killed.

Protesters alleged that the situation in Bangladesh was deteriorating. They claim that more than 50 non-Muslims have been killed since January this year and many have been booked on false charges of blasphemy.
