Unnao Rape Case: Delhi High Court suspended the sentence of former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, will be released on a personal bond of Rs 15 lakh, kept these conditions
New Delhi. In the year 2017, Delhi High Court suspended the sentence of former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the Unnao Rape Case. Kuldeep Singh Sengar had challenged the life sentence given by the trial court in the Delhi High Court. Also, there was a demand to suspend the sentence while the case was pending.

The court ordered Sengar’s release on a personal bond of Rs 15 lakh. Also directed that he will not come within a radius of five kilometers of the rape victim and will remain in Delhi only. During the bail, he will not threaten the victim and will submit his passport to the trial court. The court also directed that Sengar will have to report to the police every Monday. The court warned that if any of the above conditions are violated, the bail will be cancelled.
