JP Nadda’s big allegation on Jheeram Valley attack: Union Health Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda has created a storm in the politics of Chhattisgarh. He has made very serious allegations against Congress regarding the 2013 Jheeram Valley Naxalite attack.
Nadda said that some Congress people were involved in this attack and they had given information about their leaders to the Naxalites.
In a big public meeting held in Janjgir-Champa, he said that what will happen to the common people when the protector becomes the eater. This statement was given at the ‘Janadesh Parv’ organized on the completion of two years of the BJP government led by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai.
Nadda made sensational allegation
JP Nadda told that while being in-charge of Chhattisgarh, he had seen the Jheeram Valley incident very closely. He said with full responsibility that it was the Congress people who had contacted the Naxalites to get their leaders killed. He also gave credit to PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for eliminating Naxalism from the state.
What else did Nadda say?
Referring to the success of anti-Naxal operations in the state, the Health Minister gave some shocking figures. He said that more than 503 Naxalites have been killed in the state in the last two years. This year alone, 284 Maoists were killed, out of which 255 were from Bastar region. Last year this number was 219. Apart from this, in the last two years, about 2500 Naxalites have surrendered and 1853 have been arrested.
Nadda claimed that dangerous top Naxalite leaders like Hidma and Basavaraju have been eliminated. This shows the strength of security in the state. Nadda clearly said in his speech that after the coming of the BJP government, action against Naxalites has increased and strong steps have been taken to return peace in areas like Bastar.
