Dhurandhar Box Office Day 18: Ranveer Singh Film Becomes Highest-Grossing Indian Movie of 2025
Ranveer Singh’s action thriller Dhurandhar has emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, overtaking major releases such as Kantara: Chapter 1, Chhaava, and Stree 2 at the worldwide box office.
Despite witnessing its first sub-₹20 crore domestic day on Monday, the film has maintained strong momentum globally, completing an impressive 18-day run at the box office.
Dhurandhar Box Office Performance
On its third weekend, Dhurandhar collected a robust ₹95 crore net in India, even as it faced competition from James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash. On Monday, the film saw a nearly 60% weekday drop, earning ₹16 crore net, a respectable figure at this stage of its run.
With this, the film’s domestic total stands at ₹571.75 crore net, translating to approximately ₹686 crore gross in India after 18 days.
Strong Overseas Run Boosts Global Total
Internationally, Dhurandhar has continued to perform steadily despite losing screens to Avatar 3. The film has now crossed $20.5 million overseas, pushing its worldwide collection to around ₹872 crore.
Trade analysts expect the film to cross the ₹900 crore mark shortly and potentially enter the top 10 highest-grossing Indian films of all time, surpassing Animal and Secret Superstar (₹915 crore each).

About the Film
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar features Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian intelligence operative working undercover in Karachi. The spy thriller also stars Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R. Madhavan in pivotal roles.
The makers have already confirmed that Dhurandhar Part 2 is scheduled for release in March 2026.
