Isha Ambani’s big announcement: Deal with Qatar’s royal family, Indian children will get the world’s best education!
Recently, a deal has been signed between Reliance Industries and Qatar Museum, which can completely change the way children study and learn in India. In a special meeting in Doha, Reliance Industries Director Isha Ambani and Qatar Museum Chairperson Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani signed a 5-year strategic agreement.
What is the ‘Museum-in-Residence’ program?
Often education is limited to books and rote learning only, but the purpose of this partnership is to change this old thinking. NMACC (Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre) and Qatar Museums will together launch “Museum-in-Residence” program in both India and Qatar. In simple words, now the museum will not just be a place to visit but will also become a fun way of learning.
In this initiative, experts from Qatar’s famous ‘DADU’ (Children’s Museum of Qatar) will come to India and bring special concepts like “Light Atelier” for children. This will be a unique experience for children aged 3 to 7 years, where they will learn the intricacies of science and art while playing. Its main objective is to inspire children to learn by doing instead of memorizing (learning through play).
This program will reach the Anganwadi of villages
The most interesting thing about this deal is that it will not stop only at Hi-Fi schools in Mumbai or big cities. With the help of Reliance Foundation, this program will be taken to the villages and remote areas of India.
These world-class methods will also be used in Anganwadis and community centres. Those children who live away from good facilities will get the most benefit from it. And this is not only important for children but also for teachers. Experts from Qatar Museums will teach Indian teachers and volunteers new tools and fresh methods of teaching, so that they can better guide children in the classroom.
What a big vision Isha Ambani has!
During this agreement at the National Museum in Doha, Isha Ambani said that culture is the place where imagination begins. He stressed that the objective of NMACC is to bring the world’s best ideas to India and share India’s rich heritage with the world.
This partnership is part of the same vision, where education will not be made a burden but a means of making dreams a reality. Sheikha Al Mayassa, while calling it a legacy of the “Year of Culture”, said that this initiative will make children confident and empathetic. The agreement also matches the goals of Qatar’s “National Vision 2030”, which prioritizes human development. This joint effort of both the institutions can write a new chapter in India’s early childhood learning in the coming 5 years.
