Asha worker Neetu Dixit said that she has been serving since 2006. It is our compulsion to come in this severe cold. We are already on the streets. Now after reaching here they are fighting for their rights. Are pleading. One gets a salary of Rs 2000, in which it has become very difficult to raise one’s children. Neither are they able to provide good education to their children nor are they able to get timely treatment when they fall ill.

We, who make the lives of other children, cannot improve the lives of our own children. The Rs 2000 that we get, some officer employee should show us how to survive. we have two children. He could not study properly. Today he is searching for a job. There is no facility for our treatment, we are not able to get treatment even with Ayushman card. We treat everyone, but are not able to get ourselves treated.
Asha worker says that it is our compulsion to protest in Lucknow. The government says, save our daughters, educate our daughters but it does not help us. What should we do with Rs 2000? We were recruited as Asha workers. We were made operators. We worked diligently during the Corona period.
Many Asha’s died, but the Chief Minister gave all the credit for the service to the Anganwadi workers. If we reach CSC center late at night for delivery, we do not even get a room to spend the night. We get two to two and a half thousand rupees, but that too not on time.
If we start getting money according to the work, we will get 15 to 20 thousand rupees. No one can stop us from going to the assembly. Today we will break the barricades and reach the assembly.
