The SP said that Deepak himself had come to Thawe temple on the night of 10th and 11th December and done Reiki. The accused is studying LLB: SP said that the accused was a basketball player. His father is a retired army soldier. The elder among the two brothers is a student of LLB. SP said that he is a habitual criminal. Five theft cases have been registered.
Has gone to jail in theft case: He has been involved in many temple theft incidents in the past also. In March 2025, he had committed theft in Sheetla Mata temple located in Kotwali police station area of ​​Mau district of UP. He went to jail in this case and came out of jail on 13 November 2025.
