Mohammed Shami’s coach demands cancellation of India-Pakistan match in Asia Cup Gujarati
Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami’s coach Badruddin Siddiqui has demanded the Indian government to cancel the upcoming Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan. In his opinion, this match should not be played. A high voltage match is to be played between India and Pakistan on 14 September in Asia Cup 2025.
Badruddin Siddiqui had said, ‘Politics should not come into the voting, but seeing what Pakistan did, I wish that this match should not be played. There is nothing more important than the country. We should not maintain relations with a country which is giving us so much trouble.
Badruddin Siddiqui demanded the government to cancel the India-Pakistan match and said, ‘I want to demand from the Indian government that all the matches played between India and Pakistan should be cancelled. Matches should be played with Pakistan only when they stop trying to spoil the atmosphere in India.
It is worth mentioning that on April 22, there was a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, in which 26 civilians were killed. ‘The Resistance Front’ had taken responsibility for this attack. After this, India gave a befitting reply to Pakistan through ‘Operation Vermillion’. Recently, the World Champions of Legends 2025 (WCL) match between the teams of India and Pakistan was cancelled. Some famous players of India had withdrawn their names from this match. Badruddin Siddiqui said, ‘Indian players also do not want to play with a country which is involved in wrong activities against their country. The players did the right thing.
After ‘Operation Vermillion’, some famous players of Pakistan gave statements. Regarding this, Badruddin Siddiqui said that Pakistani players should not have given any kind of statement. Players should not enter politics. It is noteworthy that the match between India and Pakistan in Asia Cup-2025 will be played on 14 September. This will be the first time after the conflict between the two countries that India and Pakistan will face each other in a cricket match.
