Settlement of land cases expedited in Bihar, leave of revenue employees cancelled!
Actually, Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Sinha seems to be active in settling land related matters. Through public communication, a clear message has been given regarding the pending cases related to land in the department and the negligence of the officers that negligent officers and employees will not be spared. Action has also been taken against many officers.
After this harsh attitude of the Minister, an order has been issued by the District Magistrate of Patna on Tuesday that Land Reforms Deputy Collector, Patna, all Circle Officers and Revenue Officers and Revenue employees are required to be present in their respective areas. It has been said in the order that in view of timely execution of revenue related works, leave is banned in the interest of work from December 23 to December 31.
Along with this, if any officer has been granted leave during this period, it is rejected with immediate effect. Similarly, Saran District Magistrate Vaibhav Srivastava has instructed all the circle officers to ensure prompt execution of all pending cases related to Parimarjan Plus and rejection of filings. Mutation cases pending for more than 75 days have been asked to be processed in the next 10 days.
He has said that all the revenue employees deputed in all the zones will ensure to discharge their duties and responsibilities by being present in the government building every day. Under no circumstances will any revenue employee sit in a private building nor operate an office in a private building, otherwise legal action will be taken against the concerned revenue employee.
