Pune : TVS Motor Company’s new adventure rally tourer, TVS Apache RTX has bagged the Indian motorcycle industry’s most prestigious honor, Indian Motorcycle of the Year (IMOTY) 2026. The award is presented by JK Tyre. Built on the RT-XD4 platform with rally DNA, the new motorcycle has set a new benchmark in its segment, connecting the motorcycle with premium customers looking for superior performance and adventure.
An esteemed jury of 27 members, comprising senior automotive journalists from India’s most prestigious publications, selected the TVS Apache RTX for this top honor from seven shortlisted motorcycles across various segments, reflecting TVS Motor Company’s leadership in innovation, performance and customer-centric engineering.

Launched in October 2025, TVS Apache RTX enters TVS Motor Company’s adventure-rally-touring segment, offering both adventure and everyday comfort. Its new RT-XD4 299.1 cc 800 cc liquid-cooled engine produces 36 PS and 28.5 Nm. It offers a modern rider experience with a 5-inch TFT display with multiple ride modes, cruise control, bi-directional quickshifter with slipper clutch and connectivity. Its muscular rally-inspired design, long-travel suspension and strong chassis make it ideal for riding in all conditions, be it highway or off-roading.
