Widening of many roads in Bihar, good news for these districts!

Patna. Road Construction Minister Dilip Jaiswal has approved road widening in many districts of the state. Crores of rupees will be spent on these projects, which will not only provide better transportation facilities to the public but will also give a new direction to economic and social development.

In the schemes approved by the government, priority has been given to districts like Arrah, Bihar Sharif, Buxar, Munger and Chapra. The objective of these projects is to reduce the increasing traffic pressure, provide relief from the problem of traffic jam and strengthen road safety. Apart from this, it is also likely to benefit local trade, industry and tourism.

Rs 14 crore has been sanctioned for road widening from Railway Station Chowk to Raman Maidan in Arrah district. Apart from this, Rs 37 crore has been sanctioned for widening of about 5 km long road from Aranya Devi to Ara-Buxar fourlane. These projects will ease traffic to a great extent in the busy areas of the city.

Improvement of main roads in Buxar

Rs 36 crore has been sanctioned for widening of the road from Badi Masjid to Central Jail in Buxar. Apart from this, Rs 41 crore has been sanctioned for road widening from Buxar Golambar to bus stand. These projects are likely to reduce the problem of jams on the main roads of the city.

Road construction in Munger and Chhapra

Rs 5 crore has been sanctioned for widening of the road from Konark Chowk to Shastri Chowk via railway station in Munger. At the same time, a huge amount of Rs 89 crore has been approved for the road project related to NH-19 in Chapra.

Development of Biharsharif and NH routes

An amount of Rs 42 crore has been sanctioned for widening of 8 km road from Kargil Chowk to Pachasa Mod on Biharsharif-Bakhtiyarpur road. At the same time, Rs 30 crore has been sanctioned for widening of the road from NH-82 to Aparaura Mor, which will improve the traffic in this area.
