After this incident, the pressure of the Indian team increased further. Ali Raza also sent Vaibhav Suryavanshi to the pavilion, due to which India’s position became weak. After this, Mohammad Syam and Abdul Subhan did not give India a chance to recover from the initial shock by taking one wicket each in consecutive overs. Within seven overs, India lost four important wickets for 59 runs and the team was stuck in a difficult situation.
Before this, Pakistan batted brilliantly and scored a big score. Opener Sameer Minhas performed brilliantly in the final and scored his second century of the tournament. He played an explosive inning of 172 runs in 113 balls and took his team to 347 runs for 8 wickets in 50 overs. This innings was also special because Pakistan had to face defeat by 90 runs against India on this very ground in the group stage.

The record of the Indian Under-19 team in the Asia Cup has been excellent. Since the beginning of the tournament, India has won this title eight times. India and Pakistan were joint winners in the tournament played in Malaysia in 2012, when the final match ended in a draw. That was the only occasion when Pakistan captured this trophy.
