How to make Plum Cake:

  • Preparation for soaking fruits: Take half cup orange juice in a bowl. Add black raisins, cranberries, golden raisins, green cherries, tutti frutti, red cherries and mixed nuts. Mix everything well, cover and let it soak for 30 minutes, so that the fruits become soft and full of flavor.
  • Make Caramel Syrup: Add 2/3 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon water in a pan and cook on low flame. When the sugar turns into dark brown caramel, carefully add ½ cup water and cook for 2–3 minutes. Turn off the gas and let the syrup cool down a bit.
