UP News: CM Yogi honored the farmers on the occasion of Farmers Day. CM Yogi participated in a program organized in Lucknow on the occasion of National Farmers Day. During this, CM Yogi honored progressive farmers, while also handed over the keys of tractors to many farmers. On this occasion, CM Yogi said that protecting the interests of the farmers of the state is everyone’s duty. He said that the path to India’s prosperity also goes through the fields and barns.
What did CM Yogi say on the occasion of Farmers Day?
While addressing the program organized on the occasion of Farmers Day, CM Yogi said that the state government is continuously working for the progress of farmers. He said that this is the first time that farmers have joined the government’s agenda. Ever since the BJP government was formed in 2014, continuous work is being done for the development of farmers. CM Yogi said that, when the mother is ill, it is the duty of the son to take care of her. He said that this is the first time that seriousness has been shown regarding the health of Mother Earth.
On the occasion of the 123rd birth anniversary of ‘Farmers’ Day’, the former Prime Minister, ‘Bharat Ratna’ Chaudhary Charan Singh ji, who dedicated his entire life for the upliftment of Annadata farmers, participated in a program organized in Lucknow today and paid floral tributes at his statue.

CM Yogi said in his address that now every farmer of the country is taking care of the health of his soil through Soil Health Card. He said that for this, farmers are being continuously made aware by the government and various types of campaigns have been run. During this, CM Yogi also appealed to the farmers to contribute to the development of the country and the state by praising Mother India.

CM Yogi honored the farmers
During the program, CM Yogi also honored those farmers. Who produced the most in any crop. CM Yogi handed over a check of Rs 1 lakh each to such farmers. CM Yogi honored for highest yield in crops like paddy, gram, wheat, pea, mustard, pigeon pea, jowar.
