BJP’s confidence increased due to local body elections
In the recently held Maharashtra Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat elections, BJP has performed brilliantly and established itself as the number-1 party in the state. The development-oriented politics of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the organizational ability of BJP state president Ravindra Chavan are being considered the main reasons for this success.
After the election results, the discussion about “Devendra-Ravindra” pair has become stronger among BJP workers. The slogan echoed during the campaign, “Tumchi Aamchi BJP, Sarvanchi BJP” (Your-Our BJP, Everyone’s BJP) seemed to be translating into support from the voters.
