ISRO again created history in space, successful launch of Bluebird Block-2…

Sriharikota: Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully launched the world’s largest commercial communication satellite Bluebird Block-2 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sri Harikota, Andhra Pradesh. Under this mission, the launch of the LVM-M6 rocket carrying America’s latest generation communication satellite took place after the countdown started on Tuesday.

Let us tell you that the weight of Bluebird Block-2 is 6,100 kg and it has been installed in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). This is the heaviest payload ever in LVM3’s launch history. Earlier, LVM3-M5 communication satellite-03 was successfully launched, which weighed about 4,400 kg.

Let us tell you that this is the major specialty of ‘Bluebird Block-2’. The mission is being operated under a commercial agreement between NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) and US-based AST Spacemobile. Its purpose is to provide high-speed cellular broadband service to smartphones. Through this satellite, 4G and 5G voice-video calls, messages, streaming and data services will be available in any part of the world.

Let us tell you that for the success of this mission, ISRO chief had offered prayers at Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple located in Tirumala on 22 December. The MVM3 rocket was used for the launch, which is three-stage and 43.5 meters high. Cryogenic engines and S200 solid rocket boosters have been installed in it.
