Gold Silver Price 24 December 2025 : In the last week of December, there is a continuous increase in the prices of gold and silver. On Wednesday, a huge jump was again recorded in the prices of gold and silver. The price of gold has crossed Rs 1.39 lakh per 10 grams and the price of silver has crossed Rs 2.33 lakh per kg. If you are planning to buy gold today then first know the latest price of 18, 22 and 24 carat on 24th December. According to the new prices released by the bullion markets, the price of 22 carat gold (Gold Rate Today) is Rs 1,27,500/-, the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 1,39,080/- and the rate of 18 carat gold is Rs 1,04,350/-.
Gold price in major cities of the country
- On Wednesday, the price of 18 carat gold was running at Rs 1,04,350/- in Delhi-Jaipur bullion market, Rs 1,04,200/- in Kolkata-Mumbai, Rs 1,04,250/- in Indore-Bhopal and Rs 1,06,750/- in Chennai bullion market.
- If we talk about the price of 22 carat gold in Bhopal-Indore on Wednesday, it is Rs 1,27,400/-. Apart from this, it is running at Rs 1,27,500/- in Jaipur, Lucknow, Delhi bullion market and Rs 1,27,350/- in Hyderabad-Kerala and Kolkata-Mumbai bullion market.
- Talking about the price of 24 carat gold in Bhopal-Indore today, it is Rs 1,38,980/-. In Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow and Chandigarh bullion market the price is trending at Rs 1,39,080/-, in Hyderabad-Kerala and Bengaluru-Mumbai bullion market it is trending at Rs 1,38,930/- and in Chennai bullion market the price is trending at Rs 1,39,640/-.
Silver price in major cities of the country
On Wednesday, the price of 1 kg silver (Silver Rate Today) is trending at Rs 2,33,000/- in Jaipur, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mumbai and Delhi bullion markets, but in Chennai, Madurai, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Kerala bullion markets, the silver rate has reached Rs 2,44,000/-. In Bhopal and Indore, the price of 1 kg silver is Rs 2,33,000/-.
These things should be kept in mind while buying gold
- Let us tell you that India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA) releases the benchmark rates of gold and silver in the country, but these do not include GST, hence the rates of cities are different. The prices declared by the Central Government on behalf of IBJA are not released on Saturdays, Sundays and Central Government holidays.
- While buying gold, check the BIS Hallmark (with Hallmark Unique Identification Code), purity and making charges. It is a guarantee of the purity of gold, which contains the BIS logo, carat, jeweler’s identification, testing center mark and a unique HUID number.
- 999 is written on 24 carat gold jewellery, 958 on 23 carat, 916 on 22 carat, 875 on 21 carat and 750 on 18 carat. 24 karat gold is 99.9 percent pure and 22 karat gold is approximately 91 percent pure.
- Jewelery is prepared by mixing 9% other metals like copper, silver, zinc in 22 carat gold but there is no adulteration in 24 carat gold, hence most of the shopkeepers sell 18, 20 and 22 carat gold and make jewelery from it.
