Delhi: During the raid in Sadar Bazaar, the Crime Branch has exposed a big factory, which was running the business of selling expired goods in new packaging. Thousands of kilos of baby food, cold drinks, chips and chocolates have been recovered from this factory. The accused are accused of selling expired products by adding new dates.
Let us tell you that expired goods were being sold in new packaging in the factory. Thousands of kilos of baby food and expired cold-drinks were recovered from the warehouse. This gang used to import expired goods from abroad. A person was caught red handed while changing the bar code. The crime branch has arrested 7 accused. The investigation revealed that the mastermind of this gang was hiding in Mumbai.
Let us tell you that this matter is especially related to food items, due to which the health of the consumers was being played with. Till now the accused arrested in this case are being interrogated and the search for other people associated with this gang is going on.
