Lucknow and Noida will become technology hubs, CM Yogi agreed to develop AI city

UP News: Uttar Pradesh is developing rapidly under the leadership of CM Yogi. From agriculture to science and technology, the state is progressing rapidly in every direction. In such a situation, the initiative to make the capital Lucknow and Noida a technology hub has started. In fact, an important initiative has now started towards making Uttar Pradesh a national and global center of Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI. Under which AI city will be developed in Lucknow and Noida.

For this, Raju Vegesana, Chairman and Managing Director of Sify Technologies, met State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday. During this, he discussed in detail with CM Yogi about developing AI City in Noida and Lucknow. In this meeting, CM Yogi agreed on the roadmap to develop AI based digital ecosystem as a city model.

What did CM Yogi say on developing AI City in Lucknow-Noida?

After this meeting, CM Yogi said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will bring revolutionary changes in areas like governance, industry, health, education and manufacturing in the coming times. He said that for this, the state government is rapidly encouraging AI based investment, innovation and employment generation through strong digital infrastructure. He said that the proposed AI Cities in Lucknow and Noida are a part of this visionary policy.

Sify Technology invested Rs 12 thousand crores in UP

During the meeting, Sify Chairman Raju Vegesna informed CM Yogi that the company has invested about Rs 12 thousand crore in UP in the last five years. He said that there is a plan to double it in the next three years. He said that Sify’s state-of-the-art AI Edge Data Center in Lucknow will soon be fully operational. Along with this, it also has plans for a large hyperscale AI complex, which will emerge as the backbone of the proposed AI City.

Let us tell you that Sify is operating North India’s largest AI data center complex Noida-02 in Noida. Along with this, the company’s green hyperscale data center Noida-01 is already operational and is providing its services to more than 100 government and private customers. During this meeting, it was told that global technology companies like Google, Meta and Oracle are strategic partners with Sify. CM Yogi said that with the presence of companies like HCL Tech, the state is fully prepared for AI City.
