Box office success of Dhurandhar

Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar has performed brilliantly at the box office, continuously attracting the audience and breaking records. The film has officially crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the domestic box office, making it one of the most successful films of Hindi cinema.

Dhurandhar OTT release date: When and where to watch

Dhurandhar’s box office journey is not over yet. After being successful in theatre, it will also be available on digital platforms. There have been reports of Netflix buying the digital rights of this film for Rs 285 crore.

According to a report by 123Telugu, Dhurandhar is likely to stream on Netflix from January 30, 2026. Additionally, a Telugu version may also be released digitally, thereby making the film reach other linguistic audiences apart from the Hindi audience. However, confirmation of the official release date is awaited from Netflix.

Box office collection of Dhurandhar till now

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned Rs 17.25 crore on its 19th day, taking its total collection to Rs 589.50 crore. Globally, the film has grossed Rs 876.5 crore so far. It has overtaken the previous records held by Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal and Rishabh Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1.


News of ban on Dhurandhar in Gulf countries

There have been reports of Dhurandhar being banned in Gulf countries. Speaking on the subject, Danish Pandor, who plays Akshay Khanna’s cousin Uzair Baloch in the film, said, “This film should be released. I have spoken to people, but I don’t know what is the real reason for it not releasing in UAE or other Gulf countries.”

He further added, “If this film had released there, it would have been a huge hit. My friends and others have been asking me why Dhurandhar is not coming to the Gulf. I said, I don’t have any clear reason, but I want people to watch it. Maybe they should wait for the film to stream on Netflix.”
