Kohli made another record in cricket history

New Delhi: BCCI Former captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli has once again created another record for himself in the history of cricket. With the return of Vijay Hazare Trophy, he has completed 16 thousand runs in List-A cricket. Kohli has achieved this feat in the match played between Delhi and Andhra Pradesh. While chasing 299 runs, he made this big record in his name by scoring the first run.

Kohli has become the second Indian batsman to score 16000 List-A runs. Earlier Sachin Tedunalkar had achieved this feat. He has also become the 9th player in the world to achieve this feat. Which includes players like Ricky Ponting, Kumar Sangakkara and Sir Vivian Richards. Kohli last played the Vijay Hazare Trophy in the 2010–11 season. When he was the captain of Delhi. After which he is playing in the tournament after almost a decade. There was a lot of enthusiasm among new cricketers and cricket lovers regarding his return in this season.

Kohli’s performance in one-day cricket has also been top class. He is second in terms of scoring the most runs in the history of one-day cricket. He has scored 14557 runs in 308 matches. His average is 58.46. Along with this, he has scored the maximum number of 53 centuries in ODIs. Kohli has now reached near Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 60 centuries in List-A cricket. Kohli has scored 57 centuries. Kohli, who made his List-A debut in Delhi in 2006, has achieved many achievements in domestic and international cricket.
