According to the FIR registered by the police, the accused youth has been identified as Naveen Kumar. Naveen and the victim were identified through Instagram in the year 2024. After this, conversations between the two started through phone calls and messages. It is alleged that after some time, Naveen started pressurizing the girl to get into a relationship, which the girl continued to deny. Angered by this, the accused took this violent step.
Attacked outside PG
On December 22, accused Naveen reached the girl’s paying guest (PG) residence in his car. As soon as he saw the girl outside the PG, he started dragging her and attacked her in a public place.
Accused arrested, investigation continues
As soon as the information about the case was received, the police registered an FIR and took the accused into custody. Police say that CCTV footage has been seized as evidence and a detailed investigation of the case is underway.
