Candle march on Gaza, but silence on Hindus in Bangladesh-Pakistan? Yogi’s strong attack on the opposition!

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made a sharp attack on the opposition in the Assembly. Questioning the silence of those who took out the candle march on the Gaza issue, he said that when Hindus are killed in Pakistan and Bangladesh, the mouths of these people remain silent.

Yogi’s direct allegation: Result of appeasement politics

CM Yogi said in the House, “They take out candle march on the issue of Gaza, but if a Hindu is killed in Pakistan and Bangladesh, your mouths are shut. Because the person dying there is a Hindu, a Dalit…”

Yogi further said that this silence is because the opposition looks at these issues only from the point of view of vote bank. He held the policy of appeasement responsible and said that it was because of this that Bangladesh was formed. If Bangladesh and Pakistan had not been formed, Hindus would not have been burnt alive like this.

These words of Yogi created silence in the House and the opposition got a befitting reply. This statement comes in the context of recent violence and atrocities on Hindu-Dalits in Bangladesh, where incidents like burning alive of a Dalit youth have come to light.
