Star Indian opener Rohit Sharma has equaled Australian stalwart David Warner’s impressive record for the most 150-plus scores in List A cricket. This significant achievement came during a recent match in the Vijay Hazare Trophy where Sharma, representing Mumbai, struck a magnificent 155 runs from just 94 balls. Both prolific batsmen now share the top spot with nine scores of 150 or more in their List A careers

Sharma’s exceptional innings was a masterclass in aggressive batting, featuring 18 fours and 9 sixes. He reached his century in a brisk 62 balls, marking it as the fastest List A century of his career. This outstanding performance guided Mumbai to a commanding eight-wicket victory over Sikkim in Jaipur, with nearly 20 overs remaining.

This landmark knock for Sharma marked his return to domestic one-day cricket after a seven-year hiatus, having last played in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2018.His 155 not out also represents his highest score in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, showcasing his continued dominance in the 50-over format.This was his 37th List A century and further cemented his legacy as one of India’s finest white-ball cricketers, adding to his close to 14,000 List A runs

The match also saw fellow Indian star Virat Kohli make a strong return to domestic cricket, scoring 131 runs for Delhi in another Vijay Hazare Trophy fixture.
