SS Rajamouli’s **Baahubali: The Epic**—which is a remastered, single-film version of *Baahubali: The Beginning* (2015) and *Baahubali 2: The Conclusion* (2017)—is streaming on **Netflix** as a Christmas treat from **December 25, 2025**.
The 3 hour 43 minute epic film presents a spectacular tale of deception, valor and the battle for the throne of Mahishmati, featuring enhanced visuals and a never-before-seen sequence. The end credits show a glimpse of an upcoming animated series, *Baahubali: The Eternal War*, directed by Ishaan Shukla.
**Recap of the theatrical re-release**
The film, released worldwide on October 31, 2025 to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the original film, was shown in over 1,150 theaters worldwide, including in premium formats such as IMAX and 4DX. It became the highest-grossing Indian re-release, starring Prabhas (double role), Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Nassar and Sathyaraj.
**Rajamouli’s next project**
The director is currently shooting for his untitled adventure epic film with Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, which is targeted for release in 2027.
