Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor have been close friends for a long time and often support each other through social media posts. They have worked together in superhit films like Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, Ram Lakhan, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja and Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai. After the demise of their closest friend, late Satish Kaushik in 2023, the two actors came together for an emotional meeting. It was on the birth anniversary of Satish Kaushik. Kher and Kapoor paid a heartfelt tribute to him. At one point, when Anil Kapoor was asked to share memories of his relationship with the late actor, he burst into tears while walking on stage. Anil Kapoor had worked with Satish in many films.
