According to a recent report, GEN-Z users in India watch content translated from other languages on YouTube. According to YouTube’s end-of-year report, 3 out of 4 GEN-Z users in India watch content in a second language on YouTube. It states that 77 percent of users have watched translated or dubbed content in another language, while 68 percent of users have started using the language and phrases learned through YouTube videos in their daily lives. 76 percent of GEN-Z users turn to YouTube for information on international events. According to the report, Gen-G users preferred content from popular content creator MrBeast. MrBeast’s videos are available in 7 different languages. This channel has around 4.7 crore subscribers in India. This makes it clear that YouTube videos have no language restrictions. Creators and studios produce their content with different language calculations in mind. Many Indian contents are becoming popular in other countries while content from other countries are also becoming popular in India. The report mentions creators like Raj Shamani and Sejal Gaba, who are YouTubers-turned-entrepreneurs.
