Bavuma broke the silence
Temba Bavuma has commented on the matter for the first time. Referring to the incident in his column for ESPNcricinfo, he wrote that he was fully aware of what was said to him at the time. Bavuma said that Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah contacted him after the match and also apologized for the remark. According to Bavuma, he was not aware of what was said on the field at the time. He later discussed the matter with his media manager.
