Mumbai: A sensational news has come out from Mumbai’s Banganwadi area, where a husband brutally killed his wife over excessive salt in biryani. The domestic dispute took such a terrible form that the husband murdered his wife by banging her head on the wall, due to which she died on the spot in agony. The incident was so horrific that there was a commotion in the area and the police arrested the accused.

According to the police, this incident took place on the night of 20th December. The argument over the salt in the biryani turned into a terrible fight after some time, in which the husband took such a violent step in anger that Nazia Parveen lost her life. The police have registered a case and taken the accused husband into custody and the investigation is ongoing.

What was the reason for the dispute?

Police said that Nazia Parveen had prepared biryani at home and during dinner, as soon as her husband Manjar Imam Hussain ate the food, he said that there was too much salt in the biryani. This started the dispute and it escalated rapidly. There was an argument between the two, which later turned into a fight. Ultimately, in anger, Manjar slammed Nazia’s head on the wall, due to which she died on the spot due to serious injury.

Police action and FIR

After receiving information about the incident, Shivaji Nagar police reached the spot and sent the body to the hospital for postmortem. The police have registered a case of murder under relevant sections of the BNS and have arrested the accused Manzar Imam Hussain. The police are inquiring whether the dispute started only because of Biriyani or some other reason is also emerging.

Neighbors say that this dispute escalated suddenly and there used to be frequent arguments between the two on small matters. Some people said that earlier also there had been disputes between the two regarding cooking or household chores, but no one had expected that such a serious step would be taken.
