This road will be widened in UP, Rs 56 crore approved
Prayagraj. An amount of Rs 56.85 crore has been sanctioned for the road widening and strengthening of Nevadhiya road, which has been a long-standing issue for Bara assembly constituency. This project has brought new hope to the local people, because due to the dilapidation of this route, the villagers always had to face difficulties in transportation, transportation of agricultural produce, trade and emergency services.
Importance of road project
Nevadhiya Marg is not just a road for Bara Assembly, but is the lifeline of social and economic activities. The condition of the road became even more serious during the rainy season, which especially affected villagers and farmers.
MLA Dr. Vachaspati made continuous efforts at the government level and presented the technical proposal, as a result of which this much awaited project has now been approved. Widening and strengthening of roads will ease transportation in rural areas, improve access to emergency services and make transportation of agricultural produce faster and safer.
improvement in power system
Along with the road project, steps have also been taken towards construction of new power sub-stations to strengthen the power system in the area. Under Jasra development block, electricity sub-stations will be established in Gram Panchayat Bashara Tarhar and surrounding villages.
Villagers say that dependence on remote sub-stations resulted in problems of low-voltage and frequent power outages, affecting agriculture, education and trade. With the implementation of new schemes this problem will be solved to a great extent.
MLA’s commitment and expectations of area residents
Dr. Vachaspati clarified that basic facilities like roads and electricity will be given priority and Bara Assembly will be connected to the mainstream of development. Area residents described this initiative as a big step towards permanent relief and development. The completion of this project will not only change the social and economic picture of Bara Assembly but will also improve the standard of living of the local people.
