Union Minister honored labor leader Rakesh Mani by saying that four labor codes are in the interest of workers.

Kanpur. Describing the four labor codes implemented by the Modi government as being in the interest of the workers, Union Labor Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and National Human Rights Commission member Priyank Kanungo honored Rakeshmani Pandey, National Secretary of Hind Mazdoor Kisan Panchayat, by presenting memento and underwear in the special national meeting of Consent, a federation of 16 central labor organizations.

He was presented a memento by the Union Labor Minister on the basis of all the efforts and struggles made by him in the interests of labor in the special conference of 16 central labor organizations of Consent at Constituent Club, New Delhi. Similarly, in the second session also, the famous senior labor leader Rakesh Mani Pandey was honored by Priyank Kanungo by giving him a sole and body clothes.

It is noteworthy that Labor and Employment Summit 2025 was organized by Deepak Jaiswal, National President of NF ITU, at the Constitution Club, New Delhi on 16 December 2025, in which presidents, ministers and officials of 16 labor organizations from across the country as well as many officials of independent organizations were present.

Addressing this conference, the Labor Minister said that 4 Labor Codes are in the interest of the workers. It is a matter of happiness that 16 central labor organizations have assimilated this. The Labor Minister said that it has been implemented by the Modi government in the interests of workers with all its features. The Labor Minister also assured that if the Central Labor Organization gives its objections and suggestions in respect of others too, it will not only be considered but will also be implemented. While addressing the conference, National Secretary of Hind Mazdoor Kisan Panchayat, Rakeshmani Pandey said that the Government of India has implemented four labor codes with better prospects in the interest of workers. Hind Mazdoor Kisan Panchayat strongly supports it.

Strongly appreciating the Labor Minister for continuously taking the time and being ready for suggestions and talks with the labor organizations and for taking the initiative to accept the suggestions, labor leader Rakesh Mani further said that work has been done to abolish many irrelevant laws which were imposed at the time of slavery.

Rakeshmani Pandey also demanded from the Labor Minister that teachers, doctors and engineers have not been included in this, whereas they are exploited the most and their owners are almost MPs, MLAs, ministers, gazetted officers and big capitalists. There is a need to control them. For the first time, he also termed the government’s announcements for platform workers and gig workers and organized sector employees as welcome.

In the conference, along with Hind Mazdoor Kisan Panchayat, presidents and ministers of all the 16 central labor organizations including BMS, NFITU, TU CC, HMKP, INTUC, NLO, FFR, AIBEU, ESCI, HMKU, KLU, NFFW, BRMGSU, FSUI expressed their views on the 4 labor codes of the Government of India.
