Why did Priyanka and Katrina refuse?
Ekta Kapoor told Pinkvilla, “She didn’t know how big and widespread the legends are in India. Priyanka Chopra had said yes and Katrina Kaif had no idea of the prevalence of legends in India. But both of them are great women and they are women I admire and love a lot. I hope I get a chance to work with them sometime in my career.” Ekta Kapoor also told the reason behind this.

Ekta Kapoor said, “Everyone’s dream is to work with the big superstars of Bollywood, but I think one day I will work with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. Because I think they are very smart.
