Tenant burns girl’s mother alive for rejecting marriage proposal, shocking incident in Bengaluru

Bengaluru Crime News: A horrific incident took place in Basaveshwaranagar area of ​​Bengaluru late on Tuesday night. A 28-year-old tenant allegedly, in a fit of rage, poured petrol on Geeta, a 45-year-old woman, and set her on fire. The only reason for the incident was that Geeta had refused to marry him to her daughter.

Geeta used to run a grocery shop and is now admitted in Victoria Hospital. His condition is said to be very serious. The police have started searching for the accused, and the name of the accused is Muttu Abhimanyu, who used to run a tea stall in the rented part of Geeta’s house. The rent was just a room and toilet.

Abhimanyu had expressed his love for Geeta’s 19 year old daughter. Daughter is a second year BBA student. When the daughter rejected his proposal, Abhimanyu put pressure on Geeta to convince her daughter, but Geeta also flatly refused him. According to the police, there was a fight between Geeta and Abhimanyu on this issue at around 1 am on Tuesday night. When Geeta again refused, Abhimanyu got furious. He poured petrol filled in an empty water bottle kept nearby on Geeta and set her on fire. Abhimanyu always kept petrol for emergencies. Hearing Geeta’s screams, her daughter came running, but by then Abhimanyu had fled from the spot.

Geeta’s condition is serious

Neighbors immediately helped and took Geeta to the hospital. Doctors say that Geeta has suffered severe burns and is now fighting for her life. Geeta’s husband Vijay Kumar had passed away a few years ago. He was a civil contractor, and now Geeta was running the household alone with her daughter.
