Telibandha police station in-charge Avinash Singh said that some people who had come out to seek support for the Raipur bandh had vandalized it. According to the mall management, there was a loss of about Rs 5 lakh in this vandalism. The protesters damaged the Christmas tree and the effigies of Santa Claus, while also vandalizing other decorative items.

No one filed a complaint

He said that till now no complaint has been received from the management. On receiving the complaint the entire matter will be investigated. In Amanaka area too, the atmosphere remained heated regarding closure of petrol pump.
