PM Modi reached Delhi church on Christmas, gave message of peace and harmony!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday participated in the Christmas prayer service organized at the ‘Cathedral Church of the Redemption’ on the occasion of Christmas. A large number of people from the Christian community from different areas of Delhi and North India participated in this meeting.

Prayers, Christmas carols and hymns were sung at the meeting. Right Reverend Dr. Paul Swarup, Bishop of Delhi, offered special prayers for Prime Minister Modi.

Prime Minister Modi also shared some pictures of the Christmas morning prayer meeting at the ‘Cathedral Church of the Redemption’ on the social media platform ‘X’.

He also shared the video in another post and wrote, “May Christmas bring the promise of new hope, love and kindness alike. Here are some special moments from the Christmas morning mass at the ‘Cathedral Church of the Redemption’.”

In the last few years, Prime Minister Modi has been regularly participating in programs related to the Christian community. On the occasion of Easter 2023, Prime Minister Modi participated in the Easter program at ‘Sacred Heart Cathedral’ in Delhi and attended the prayer meeting there.

On Christmas 2023 he hosted a special event with prominent members of the Christian community at his residence.

In 2024, PM Modi attended the Christmas dinner at the residence of Union Minister George Kurien. Apart from this, PM Modi also participated in the program organized by the Catholic Bishops Conference of India (CBCI).

Christmas is being celebrated across the world on Thursday, which marks the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. In India, people of different religions also celebrate this festival together.
