Who was Ganesh Uike?

69-year-old Ganesh Uike was originally a resident of Nalgonda district of Telangana. He was also known by many names like Pakka Hanumantu and Rajesh Tiwari. Uike was considered the administrative and strategic brain of the Maoist organization. He was not a direct field commander, but was responsible for logistics, funding and inter-zone communication.

According to sources, his health had deteriorated due to being underground for a long time. He was unable to even walk and was always surrounded by the women’s security squad. Its weak condition had also badly affected the Maoist network, which was now reduced to small scattered cells instead of an organized structure.

Now only Devuji is in the top leadership

After the killing of Uike, security agencies believe that Devuji is now the only top level leader left in the Maoist organization. Devuji is considered an ideological giant, who once played an important role in the military wing of the organization. However, its age and declining influence indicate that the Maoist movement has now reached its final stages.
