7 big decisions of the Central Government, which gave relief to the general public!
New Delhi. The year 2025 proved to be a year of change in Indian policy and administration. This was not only a year of economic achievements, but also became a symbol of policy and mental change. The central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear that there will be no hesitation in reforms, whether it is related to law, tax or administrative structure. Instead of maintaining the old systems, new and big decisions were taken, which directly benefited both the general public and the business world.
1. Reforms in labor laws
In the year 2025, 29 old labor laws were consolidated into four codes. Its objective was not only for administrative simplicity but also to provide clear rules for industries while maintaining the safety of workers. This increased female labor participation, strengthened industrial relations and brought stability in organized employment.
2. Improvement in public trust also
The government decriminalized more than 200 minor crimes. Small technical violations will no longer attract jail but only fines. This provided ease of work to MSMEs and small businesses and increased trust in the government among citizens.
3. Relief in GST and Income Tax
GST was brought in two slabs and income up to Rs 12 lakh was exempted from income tax. This not only provided relief to the middle class but also reduced the tax burden of small traders. Consumption in the market increased and record sales were recorded during festivals.
4.Reset of ease of doing business
Rules related to small products and businesses were simplified. Quality control orders and requirements were reduced, freeing small producers from costly certifications and unnecessary procedures.
5.Change in MSME and foreign investment
New definition of MSME was implemented and 100 percent FDI was allowed in the insurance sector. This step proved helpful in making India attractive to global investors as well as increasing domestic competition.
6. Nuclear Sector, and Indian Judicial Code
An investment-friendly environment was created in the nuclear sector. The Indian Judicial Code (BNS) was implemented by replacing the 160 year old IPC, which made it possible to address modern challenges like cyber crime and e-FIR.
7.Employment guarantee under Vikat Bharat Yojana 2025
Under the Vikas Bharat Yojana 2025, rural employment guarantee has been increased from 100 days to 125 days. Now the employment provided to the villagers is not just in the form of work but is linked to the village property and local infrastructure, so that it has long-term benefits. Also, monitoring and progress of the scheme will be tracked through digital medium, thereby ensuring transparency and accountability.
