Industrialist Sunjay Kapur, chairman of Sona Comstar, died on June 12, 2025, at age 53, during a match at Guards Polo Club in Windsor, UK. The Telegraph reported he suffered anaphylactic shock after swallowing a bee that stung him in the mouth. His passing left a void for Samaira (born 2005) and Kiaan (born 2010), whom he shared with ex-wife Karisma Kapoor after their 2003 marriage and 2016 divorce.
