Apple 2026: Apple will now show more advertisements on the App Store, know why the company took this decision?

New Delhi. Apple has always been famous for a clean and premium interface, but now this experience is about to change. From the year 2026, whenever you go to the iPhone’s App Store and search for an app, you will see more sponsored apps and advertisements there than before. Apple is now going to use those places for advertisements which were kept away from advertisements till now. This change can completely change the image of Apple where it claimed to maintain distance from interference of advertisements.

Apple’s main reason behind this big change is to increase its earnings. More than 800 million people visit the App Store every month, making it one of the world’s most valuable digital destinations for advertising. Apple believes that ‘Search’ is the biggest source of app download, so it wants to give more space to developers. Now ads will appear not only at the top of the search results, but also at the bottom and middle, giving companies more opportunities to expand their reach.

This new system of Apple will be based on auction, where Apple itself will decide where the advertisement is to be shown. Advertisers will be charged on the basis of ‘cost-per-tap’ and ‘cost-per-install’. Overall, Apple is now fully prepared to convert its ecosystem into a big ad-network, due to which iPhone users may have to face a flood of advertisements on the App Store in the future.
