Bihar created history, record of 574 runs and ‘Virat’ blast of 14 years of glory

VHT 2025: Yesterday was a very historic day in the history of domestic cricket. In the match played between Bihar and Arunachal Pradesh, there was such a flood of runs which broke not only the Indian record but also many big records of world cricket. On the Ranchi ground, Bihar’s batsmen did what no other team in the world had been able to do in List-A cricket till date.

Highest score in List-A cricket

Bihar team scored a big score of 574 runs against Arunachal Pradesh by losing 6 wickets in 50 overs. This is the biggest team score so far in the history of List-A cricket. Earlier this record was in the name of Tamil Nadu, which had scored 506 runs in 2022. With this, this is the first time that a team has crossed the 550-run mark in List-A cricket.

Orgy of 14 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi

The biggest hero of this historic match was Vaibhav Suryavanshi. By scoring a century at the age of just 14 years and 272 days, he became the youngest player to score a century in List-A cricket. He completed his hundred in just 36 balls. Vaibhav completed 150 runs in just 59 balls, which is the record of fastest 150 runs in List-A cricket. Earlier this record was in the name of South African legend AB de Villiers.

Saqibul Ghani and Ayush Loharuka’s storm

This victory did not come only on the strength of Vaibhav, other batsmen of Bihar also thrashed the bowlers of Arunachal. Captain Ghani created a blast by scoring a century in just 32 balls. This is the fastest century of any Indian in List-A cricket. He played a total innings of 128 runs. Along with this, Ayush Loharuka also contributed a brilliant 116 runs, due to which the score could reach 574.
