Meerut. Minister of State for Water Resources, Dinesh Khatik, Minister of State for Water Resources in the Yogi Government of UP has expressed his disappointment with politics. He said that ‘I will not become the MLA of cursed Hastinapur for the third time’. He said that such a voice comes from my conscience only. Khatik told that he also read Puranas and Bhagwat, but now he is not interested in politics.

Actually, the minister had attended a program with Acharya Pramod Krishnam. This program took place in a school in Panchi village. The minister said these things in this annual function. It is being told that Khatik is in depression for some days due to illness. It is feared that due to this the minister might have given such a statement.

The minister said, “I don’t know, one thing automatically comes to mind that after becoming MLA, no one ever became MLA from Hastinapur again. Media also used to ask me that if you are contesting elections from this land again, then tell me whether you will win again or not? He further said that Hastinapur is a cursed land. There is a curse of Draupadi here, if no one else wins here, then what right does Dinesh Khatik have that we should win? But, We won again because there were people like Narendra Modi in the country and CM Yogi in UP, that is why they again crossed my boat and made me MLA again.
