Kartik Aryan and Ananya Pandey starrer ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’ is also one such new offering, which looks great and stylish from outside, but is a bit complicated in terms of story. Looking at it, it feels as if it is an expensive car, but it is running on a rough and broken road – it is shiny, but the ride is not that comfortable! The concept of the film and the way it is shown, i.e. its making is very swanky and modern. The director has tried his best to bring freshness to the story. Both Kartik Aryan and Ananya Pandey are quite popular among today’s youth and their chemistry also looks good on screen. There are some moments that will make you laugh and some you will also like, like the songs and the glamor of the film. But while the film shines, its biggest weakness comes in its story. The film follows a path which, despite appearing clean, sometimes appears incomprehensible. At many places, it seems as if the director has just filled the story with flashy scenes instead of making the story completely strong. Lack of emotional connection is also felt. Sometimes the story leans more towards comedy and sometimes tries to be emotional, but is unable to maintain this balance properly. Talking about acting, Karthik Aryan is in his familiar style and he is looking good in comedy. Ananya Pandey has also fitted into her role, but perhaps the story has not given her many opportunities to show something very different. The supporting cast is also in its place. Overall, ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’ is such a film that some moments are enjoyable while watching, especially the songs and the style of the actors. But if you go with the expectation of a strong and resolved story, you may feel a little incomplete. This film is a ‘package’ of entertainment, but the ‘content’ inside seems to be somewhat scattered.
