According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, at present the effect of fog will persist in many states, due to which travelers need to be cautious.
How will the weather be in Delhi?
There is a possibility of partly cloudy sky in the capital Delhi on Friday. Light fog may be seen in some areas during morning and evening. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi can be around 21 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be between 7 to 9 degrees Celsius.
More impact of fog in these states
The Meteorological Department has predicted dense fog in many areas in eastern Uttar Pradesh till December 28 and at some places between December 29 and 31. Fog is expected to persist in western Uttar Pradesh till December 28 and in Punjab till December 27. At the same time, the effect of fog may remain in some areas of Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh till December 28.
Meteorological Department alert and advice
IMD has issued a warning of dense fog in the morning and evening for the next few days in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Jammu and Kashmir. The department has said that visibility may be reduced due to fog, hence drivers have been advised to be careful and drive slowly.
