50 lakhs stolen from jewelery shop in Garhwa, thieves took away CCTV hard disk along with gold, silver and cash.
Garhwah Criminals have committed a major incident of theft in Garhwa district on Wednesday night. Thieves made away with jewelery and cash worth about Rs 50 lakh in Shubh Lakshmi Vastralaya-Munna Jewellers, a shop of famous businessman Ram Harakh Prasad Gupta located in Vishunpura market. The thieves escaped with jewellery, clothes and cash worth about Rs 50 lakh. There is a lot of anger among businessmen due to this incident. According to the incident, the thieves entered the shop by breaking the lock of the iron grill from the back side and took away the gold and silver kept in the shop.
Heavy firing late night in Ranchi, panic in the area
Early in the morning, when the businessman saw the lock of the shop broken, he understood that he had been robbed. The almirah kept inside the shop was broken. Boxes of clothes, gold and silver were scattered in the shop. The thieves fled away after stealing gold, silver and clothes worth about Rs 50 lakh. Thieves were trying to take away the iron locker kept in the shop but could not succeed. The thieves also took with them the hard disk of the CCTV camera installed in the shop.
Jewelery shop looted in Jamtara, shopkeeper shot
As soon as information about the incident was received, Bisunpura police station in-charge Rahul Singh reached the spot and started investigation. The victim businessman told that as usual he had closed his shop at 8 pm and gone home. Meanwhile, Business Association President Omprakash Gupta strongly condemned the incident and said that all shopkeepers will keep their shops closed until the theft is exposed.
