Pakistan made shameful record in T20 match against Bangladesh Gujarati
In the second T20 match played at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka, host Bangladesh performed brilliantly and defeated Pakistan by eight runs. With this win, Bangladesh team took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. The host team won the first T20 by seven wickets. In the second T20, Pakistan team was bowled out for 125 runs in 19.2 overs while chasing the target of 134 runs. Along with this, Pakistan has also made a shameful record in its name. The team lost five wickets for 15 runs, which is their lowest score in T20 after losing five wickets.
Powerplay means after completion of first six overs, Pakistan had scored 16 runs after losing five wickets. By the fifth over, the team had lost the wickets of Fakhar Zaman (8 runs), Sam Ayub (1 run), Mohammad Haris (0), Hassan Nawaz (0) and Mohammad Nawaz (0) for 15 runs. Pakistan’s previous lowest score after losing five wickets was 15 runs, which it made against Australia in Brisbane in 2025. Now Pakistan team has fallen one level ahead. Captain Salman Ali Aga scored nine runs in 23 balls, Khushdil Shah scored 13 runs. However, due to the runs of the tail-enders, Pakistan team could reach the score of 125 runs.
Fahim scored 51 runs in 32 balls with the help of four fours and four sixes. Whereas, Abbas Afridi scored 19 runs and Ahmed Daniyal scored 17 runs. Salman Mirza remained silent. For Bangladesh, Shoriful Islam took three wickets, while Mehdi Hasan and Tanjim Hasan Saqib took two wickets each. Mustafizur Rahman and Rishad Hussain took one wicket each. Earlier, Pakistan captain Salman Aga had decided to bowl first after winning the toss. Bangladesh lost all wickets for 133 runs in 20 overs.
For Bangladesh, Mohammad Naim scored three runs, Parvez Hussain Emmon scored 13 runs and captain Liton Das scored eight runs. Tauhid Hridayoy could not open account. After this, there was a partnership of 53 runs for the fifth wicket between Zakir Ali and Mehdi Hasan. Mehdi was out after scoring 33 runs in 25 balls with the help of two fours and two sixes. At the same time, Zakir Ali scored 55 runs in 48 balls with the help of one four and five sixes. Shamim Hussain was out after scoring one run, Tanjim Hasan was out after scoring seven runs, Shoriful Islam was out after scoring one run and Rishad Hussain was out after scoring eight runs.
