Spain’s PM Sanchez buys Ganesha idol, payment through UPI

Spain’s PM Pedro Sanchez said that he is eager to take forward the negotiations on Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and the European Union. He said that there is huge potential for stronger relations between India and the European Union, an organization of 27 countries including Spain.
The European Union (EU)-India had proposed a FTA with the aim of further promoting bilateral trade and investment between the two regions. Both sides are negotiating agreements on FTA, investment protection treaty and geographical indications (GI).

Addressing the CII Spain India Business Summit in Mumbai on Tuesday, Sanchez said that the potential for stronger relations between India and the EU is huge. Spain is one of the largest economies in the world and has invested $4.2 billion in India. The FTA between the two regions will help in increasing the size and diversity of our markets. This is PM Sanchez’s first visit to India.
Sanchez bought Ganesha idol and paid through UPI

Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez purchased the idol of Lord Ganesha in Mumbai on Tuesday. For this he used Unified Payment Interface (UPI). Sanchez praised UPI after this easy transaction.
